Sarmad Sadik

Sarmad  Sadik

Technologist, School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Technology

Sarmad Sadik is a robotics engineer with over 9 years of industry experience. Since joining Sheridan in 2014, Sarmad has put his energy and passion into many initiatives at the Centre for Advanced Manufacturing and Design Technologies (CAMDT). Sarmad’s research interests include robotics, machine vision and microelectromechanical systems with a focus on design and control of intelligent autonomous systems.

With a work history in robotics, a Masters of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ryerson University, and as a Post Doctoral Fellow conducting research on Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Sarmad’s background is impressive. He worked in Manufacturing engineering at MPD – Canada and Propack Processing & Packaging Systems Canada, as well as Automation Engineering at Super Pufft, all of which has given him a wealth of industry experience that he brings to CAMDT as a Technologist.
