Sheridan Strength and Conditioning

The Strength and Conditioning Facility is 4,000 square feet and is used primarily by students in the Exercise Science, Health Promotion (ESHP) and Athletic Therapy degree programs along with the Fundamentals of Fitness Leadership certificate. The goal is to provide a learning environment for students.  We develop managerial and interpersonal skills necessary to implement health/human performance programming in a strength and conditioning environment.

It is our goal to bring passion and leading edge training techniques to young athletes in a fun atmosphere combining effective performance programs with state-of-the-art fitness equipment. We provide all athletes with the skills they need to become more powerful, faster, stronger and more agile through the use of very specific and focused training sessions that will meet and exceed the needs of each athlete through high energy and informative coaching. Clients of the facility are trained primarily by our students in 3rd and 4th year of the Health Promotion (ESHP) program under the direct supervision of a Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach.
