Faculty, Visual and Creative Arts


Trish Delaney is an artist living in Toronto. She graduated from The Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) and completed her MFA in sculpture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 1992.

She spent her formative teaching years at the Toronto School of Art. She taught several part-time courses at OCAD, The University of Western Ontario, Haliburton School of the Arts, and Sheridan’s Art Fundamentals Program before accepting a full-time position in the Visual and Creative Arts program in 2007.

Group shows in Chicago and Toronto with such titles as “Gigantic Women,
Miniature Work”, “Garment as Metaphor,” “Seven Conical Hats,” “The Changing Room,” “The Homely Show,” “Cross-Eyed,” “Constellation” and “30 Anatomical Hearts” have allowed her to explore various themes and multiple materials often related to the body.

Presently she teaches sculpture in the Visual and Creative Arts Program and continues to explore a wide range of materials and themes as an artist and teacher.
