Masters of Interior Design from the University of Manitoba and Bachelor or Environmental Studies (Architecture) from the University of Waterloo

Miranda has been teaching full-time in the Interior Design program since 2005 and Coordinated the Diploma program from 2007-2010.  Prior to teaching at Sheridan she worked in interior design and architectural firms across Ontario, Alberta and British Colombia. Projects have included work in the health care, corporate, commercial and residential sectors. Miranda has been awarded the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development Award of Excellence, Professional Interior Designers of Manitoba Medal, the Professional Interior Designers Institute of Manitoba Master of Interior Design Practicum Prize and the David Jenkins Memorial Award.

Key memberships: Director of Student Relations of the Southwestern Ontario Chapter (SOC) of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) from 2006-2012, Sheridan Representative for the Alliance of Canadian Educators in Interior Design (ACEID) from 2008-2010.

Miranda has presented to local high schools about the Interior Design profession.
