Kristin Mesley's teaching practice spans over 25 years in the Faculty of Animation, Art, and Design. She provides academic leadership as a Professor of 3-D Design in the Art Fundamentals Program by creating an inclusive and learner-centered environment to engage students in developing their creative potential and to support them in the acquisition of knowledge and crucial skills for further application beyond the foundation level.

Kristin’s professional studio practice in sculpture has grown over 35 years to include lighting, furniture, and related objects, retail, wholesale, and showroom design and display. She has been privileged to work with interior designers, landscape architects, private clients, foundations, and corporations, including The Hospital for Sick Children Foundation, Stratford Festival Theatre, and Amnesty International, among many others. She has exhibited in public and commercial galleries and artist-run centers in Canada. Her work is in Canadian House and Home, Style at Home, Ming Pao Saturday Magazine, The Canadian Jewish News, Toronto Life Gardens, and A Journal of the Built and Natural Environments. Her sculpture and commissioned work are in private and corporate collections across Canada and the United States.
