Didier has been a freelance Film/television editor for 34 years and has worked in news, broadcast, Documentaries and on corporate videos. He has worked with CNN (Africa), National Geographics, CBS, Discovery channel, CBC, BBC, Global, Life, Prime, TSN and TVO. One of his documentaries “Children of Asia” won a silver medal at: The New York Festival.

For the past 26 years, Didier has been teaching Visual post production at Sheridan College in the Bachelors of Film & Television and in Media Arts undergraduate programs. As well as teaching in the post-graduate Advanced Television and Film Program.

In 2008 Didier was nominated and received the National Institute for Staff and Organizational Development (NISOD) Award of Excellence. This award was handed out in Austin Texas, to faculty and staff for outstanding contribution to teaching, leadership and learning.

Didier has also been an Avid Certified Instructor since 1994 and has successfully trained editors in North America, Europe, South America and Asia. In September of 2000 he moved into the new Avid Authorized Education Centre within the Sheridan Centre for Animation and Emerging Technologies (SCAET), where he continues to provide specialized training on the Avid Symphony and Media composers systems.
