Nichol Guerra, Lecturer: Wellness & Healthy Living; Nutrition for Well Being; Human Biology & Fundamentals of A&P
Nichol Guerra is an exceptional program developer and has coordinated high quality programming for end of life clients. Nichol is an accomplished recreation specialist and has years of experience in the community health sector in the USA where she worked in program planning and development for seniors and persons living with HIV/AIDS. Additionally, Nichol is a Certified Group Fitness trainer; volunteer in Long Term Care and a recreational runner.
As a former Day Program Coordinator of a local hospice, Nichol provided leadership, enhanced program activities, secured unique talents and built a solid team of programming and complementary therapy volunteers to service individuals at their end of life. Additionally, Nichol is known for her commitment to the success of young adults, and thus, took on the responsibility as a preceptor for field placement RPNs, Art Therapy and SSW students from a variety of academic institutions throughout Toronto and the GTA.
As a fitness trainer, Nichol has conducted extensive workshops on health, wellness and fitness programs to prepare individuals for the American Council on Exercise group trainer certification examination.
