Scott joined the Sheridan team at STC in 2012 as a full-time faculty member. Prior to this, he spent 30+ years in heavy industry where he held an Industrial Electrical License. During this time he developed a level of expertise in motor repair and control, programmable logic control, and instrumentation. Throughout this work history he held a variety of work roles including managerial positions where he oversaw and participated in plant maintenance and implemented systems development.
Scott’s tenure at Sheridan has included bringing his passion and enthusiasm to the classroom. His extensive work experience has allowed him to transform the classrooms into a real life experience by using a variety of teaching methods and materials. Scott is currently a member of the Health & Safety Committee and uses his past work experience to ensure a safe working environment for all students participating in lab exercises.
