Trish Delaney is an artist living in Toronto. She graduated from The Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) and completed her MFA in sculpture from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 1992. She spent her formative teaching years at the Toronto School of Art. She taught several part-time courses at OCAD, The University of Western Ontario, Haliburton School of the Arts, and in Sheridanâ€™s Art Fundamentals Program before accepting a full-time position in the Visual and Creative Arts program in 2007. She's had group shows in Chicago and Toronto such as, Gigantic Women, Miniature Work, Garment as Metaphor, Seven Conical Hats, The Changing Room, The Homely Show, Cross-Eyed, Constellation and 30 Anatomical Hearts. These shows have allowed her to explore various themes and multiple materials often related to the body. Trish teaches sculpture in the Visual and Creative Arts Program and continues to explore a wide range of materials and themes as an artist and teacher.
