Michael Rubinoff joined Sheridan in 2011 as the Associate Dean of Visual and Performing Arts, and has served as a chair of the Associate Dean’s Council. He currently holds the role of Producing Artistic Director for the Canadian Music Theatre Project (which he founded) and Producer for Theatre Sheridan. Michael has served on the Board of Governors at the University of Western Ontario, he is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, a former board member and president of the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts, 2015 Member of the Governor General’s Canadian Leadership Conference, and a member of the Minister of Heritage’s Advisory Group on Canadian Cultural Initiatives in China. Michael is the winner of the 2017 Colleges and Institutes Canada Leadership Excellence Award for Managerial Staff, the 2017 Canadian Club (Toronto) Canadian of the Year and is a 2017 Tony Award Nominee for Best Musical for Come From Away. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) and Bachelor of Laws from the University of Western Ontario.
