Wayne Steffler

Wayne Steffler joined Sheridan as Vice President, Finance & Administration and Chief Financial Officer on August 8, 2017.

Wayne brings a wealth of knowledge and extensive experience in the public sector, having led successful financial, administrative and cross-functional teams. His strategic leadership experience includes Integrated Resource Planning, Activity Based Budget models, and Risk Management.

He joins Sheridan most recently from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he served as Assistant Vice President, Administration. In this role, Wayne was involved in a diverse range of Finance and Administration activities and projects, including direct oversight of Investments, Procurement, Retail, Printing and Parking operations of the university. Prior to this role, Wayne was the Director, Financial Services at Laurier. He also spent several years at the City of Waterloo as Team Leader Financial Services and prior to that as a Senior Financial Analyst.

Wayne holds undergraduate degrees in economics and commerce, a Master of Business Administration degree, and a CPA, CMA designation.
