This is a 3D anatomy visualization of a frog. It is a web-based online application that demonstrates the capability of web applications for highly complex 3D scene with good rendering quality.
It is implemented using Viewpoint Media Player, which is a web browser plug-in that allows dynamic and interactive visualization on the web. The 3D anatomy data of the frog was segmented and generated from a total of 136 slices of 2D images using Visualization Toolkit (VTK).
The number of polygons of 3D frog data is about 161,000 in total. Viewpoint offers multi-pass rendering, anti-aliasing and shadow.
