How much does parking cost?

Parking costs fluctuate depending on which type of permit you wish to purchase. The most recent prices are listed in your fee guide. Permits are available only from September to September of each year.


Where do I get a permit?

All parking permits are available for sale at the Cash offices of each campus.


Can I park on campus without a permit?

Permits or daily passes are required to park on campus between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Monday to Friday. Failure to obtain a permit to park may result in a parking ticket. Every one parking on campus is expected to adhere to the College Parking Regulations which are available from Security.


I don’t come to the College every day of the week, can I get a reduced rate for parking?

There are no reduced rates. We offer a large number of options and it is the responsibility of the purchaser to decide which permit would be best for them.


I am a co-op student and not here for two consecutive semesters, what permit should I buy?

You will have to purchase a permit for the semesters that you are on campus; two single semester permits. There will be no adjustment made for the difference in price.


Can I get a refund for my parking permit if I decide not to drive, or withdraw from College?

You can get a FULL refund if your permit is returned within the first ten days of the semester. If you return it after ten days, you will get a refund based on a set refund schedule which comes into effect on the date you HAND IN your permit.


What happens if I forget my permit?

You should report to the Security office and they will issue you a temporary permit for the day. If you do not do this, you may get a parking ticket.


What should I do if I lose my permit, or I suspect it has been stolen?

You must report to Security and complete a report. You will also be asked to report all thefts to your local Police Service. A non-refundable $25 replacement fee is charged for lost and stolen permits, once that is paid a new permit will be issued. If you fail to replace your permit, your car may be ticketed.


What if I have a permit, and I can’t find a place to park?

During peak periods, it is sometimes difficult to find a parking space, but that does not mean you can park illegally. Approach a Security Officer in the booths or the Patrol Officer, they will direct you to available parking. It is your responsibility to arrive in time to find a place to park, you should not abandon your car simply because you are late for class. We can and will issue tickets to vehicles in violation of the municipal parking regulations.

All parking on campus is on a first come, first served basis. Although we will accommodate all vehicles, it may not be in a designated paved parking space.
