Colleges offer a wide range of options for furthering your education, including post-graduate certificates (intensive one year programs with admission requirements that usually include a completed diploma) as well as applied degrees. Colleges are also involved in apprenticeship and trades training. Selecting the type of credential to pursue will depend on what you want to be doing for work once you are finished education. School, after all, is your route to a destination so the better you can define where you want school to take you, the easier it is to chart the right path. This is especially important with college education since it tends to be more applied than university studies. If you are having trouble pinning down anything other than a very general career direction, it may be premature to start mapping out the next step in your education.
