The Orientation Team recognizes that family and friends play an important role in helping a new student make the transition to a postsecondary learning environment. The transition to college can be an exhilarating, yet anxious time for you and your student. The purpose of Orientation is to ease the transition to College for first-year students. Guests are welcome to attend Orientation with their student in order to learn more about Sheridan. An interactive information session will introduce you to key College personnel and administration, and the question and answer format of the session if designed to answer specific questions and address any concerns you may have.
