Accessible Learning Services partners with current and potential students along with academic schools to provide an accessible learning environment at Sheridan. Our work includes
- Working with students to idIentify the impact of their disability on learning and academic performance including student rights and responsibilities as a student with a disability
- Selecting academic accommodations that may help minimize the impact of their disability on learning and academic performance
- Determining what assistive technology may help minimize the impact of their disability on learning and academic performance
- Arranging access to academic accommodations and assistive technology
Student MUST provide documentation that verifies the existence of a disability to access appropriate accommodations and services at Sheridan.
