When Sheridan employee Jamie Owen purchased a very early Hamilton, Ontario commercial building, he discovered a treasure trove of signs, some dating back 80 years, left behind by the building’s previous owner Hamilton Signs. Visit the Gallery, AA wing, Trafalgar Road Campus, from October 15 to 29 to see a selection of these old hand painted and hand screen-printed signs, reflecting small Hamilton businesses and the charming lost art of sign painting.
The Gallery is open, Monday to Thursday: 10 am – 7 pm and Friday: 10 am to 5 pm.
